USS IOWA Model 2.12.11

USS IOWA Model 2.12.11A new BB-61 IOWA project begins. The project, which we just started today (2.12.11), is building a large (9 or 10 foot) Battleship IOWA model; it will be displayed at the Long Beach Grand Prix in April, then will have a permanent home in IOWA when she opens. The model project is meant to help raise donations for the IOWA; each contributor will have their name displayed as a ‘plankowner’.
