this guy wasn’t too happy of me stealing some shots but I was very far away with my 100-400mm – it was a shoot for a Pacific Beach magazine

This photo is from a group shoot we did way back in January 2010 at Cuddy Park in Anchorage, Alaska.

One of the models wanted to do a bikini shoot in the snow – remember this is Alaska and we are pretty oblivious to the cold especially since you lose all feelings in a few minutes. We picked Cuddy Park because almost no one goes there in the winter except for some ice skaters (like me) and some dog walkers – except the day we picked it there was a Municipality of Anchorage sponsored event so about 300 people showed up – and they ended up seeing several lovely women in bikinis hanging on rock walls and prancing in the snow. It was great fun for everyone except the models who turned blue after about 5 minutes.

I met Ashton on Model Mayhem – a lovely young lass – I need to drop her a note to see if she’s thawed out yet and still talking to me!

Tough for him. If he wants privacy then go take shots on a private beach. If this is a public area you can technically get a whole lot closer. Really want to piss him off, go stand behind the model and keep waving your hands middle finger extended

Yes, if you are in a public place, he cannot say anything to you. I take lots of photos of photographers in public doing their thing. – The real pros never even look at me, they are too busy working! Anyway…. Looks like he was shooting for the Anorexia Monthly magazine :-)

I’ve had the same thing happen and really, just they just got to ride with that and have fun–if it’s a public place and people are around and want to take a picture while I’m shooting with a model, I just let them. I’m with the previous two–they can’t say anything and if they want no one else go to a private spot where no one else is around.

I would have given the finger too and then some! :D Plus, behind the scenes shots are even better. =)
